Recently I had the opportunity to fish the Feather River with "Capt. Mike".  His knowledge of fishing and guiding is second to none.  His ability to "find the fish" speaks for itself with the attached photo.  I highly recommend his guide service to anyone who wants to enjoy a terrific fishing experience.  Thank you again, Mike.  The trip was OUTSTANDING!!!!!

My dad and I were blessed to spend two days with Mike on the Sacramento, fly-fishing for native rainbow. What a time! While I practiced catch and release, my first-time-fly-fishing father practiced what we dubbed "hook and release" . . . until an hour before the final day was over. Congratulations on a beautiful rainbow, dad! Mike was gracious with our tangled lines, persistent when the weather was foul, and encouraging the entire time. His jet boat was over-the-top fun. All in all we had a wonderful trip and hope to join Mike on the Sacramento for salmon fun next time. God bless, Mike!

I've fished with Mike Roberts several times and we've always caught fish. He has knowledge of several different species - trout, steelhead, salmon, and striped bass.  He knows the lakes and rivers, and he has several "secret" fishing holes. Being my first time fishing in Northern California, I'll never forget the experience I had while on Mike’s boat. We had all the equipment needed for what we were fishing for. Fishing on the Sacramento River was a stellar day for both my husband and I. Mike knew exactly where to take us. We weren't’t there 30 minutes when we caught the first salmon. The second, third, and fourth fish were all caught in the same place. Another boat was in the area when we arrived…. after fishing all day we never saw them bring in a fish. Mike really knew his stuff.
